We are only a 10 minute scenic drive to downtown Whitefish, and just 20 minutes to the world famous skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Amazing Montana views all around this 1940s farmhouse on old farmstead with meadows and magical, old forest for hikes, with trails along the river. Located just down the road to the National Forest, and right up the road from the road to the Beaver Lakes Trailhead recreation area, also just up the road from Whitefish Lake. The farmhouse is one of two homes, each set away from the other, on 20 of the best Montana acres in the region, with long stretch of Stillwater River frontage- so you can float down the river right to the property. I have 4 kayaks you are welcome to use. Cool and comfy in the summer, warm and cozy in the winter. The home is fully furnished and equipped with 3 bedrooms, with 2 queen beds and 2 extra long twin beds, and 2 full bathrooms (all towels and bedding provided). All beds were purchased new in 2014 and are high quality. Also contains a small crib and booster chair for infant. Kitchen has everything you need, with new, full-size appliances including dishwasher and microwave. Dining room has long table with seating for eight. Living room has a couch which seats three, and four armchairs, plus two large floor cushions. Montana-style Western decor touches throughout. Wireless internet and Direct-TV and smart TV for accessing Netflix. Covered parking for one vehicle next to house and large gravel area will accommodate several more. BBQ grill area (propane). Small, fenced backyard. Also plenty of room for tents in the summer.
