I’ve made my career as a product designer for more than 20 years. I started designing architectural lighting for Nessen, D’ac and LAM and office furniture for Kimball. My design won best of Neocon in 2002. Over the years, I’ve designed blue and white porcelain tableware for Bombay Company to custom furniture for celebrities. I’ve met designers and artists from almost every field and talked about their process – how they work and how they make their best work. I also trained as a life coach. I know what it’s like to feel burned out creatively. I’ve been at the place where you have nothing to give. You feel spent, like a crusty piece of bread. But, slowly, I learned how to find a more even keeled approach to design and the creative process.
