Victoria’s Corner, Inc. was born out of our passion for sharing the “love of design and creating the perfect blend of comfort and beauty” in our clients’ homes more than twenty years ago. After decades in the home decorating business, our growing ambition to salvage and restore pieces of furniture otherwise considered passe launched our desire to open our studio on Milton Avenue in Ballston Spa, NY—a flourishing destination for antique shopping. Our studio not only carries revived and restored furniture using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® but also lovely accessories that will add detail and beauty to whatever your personal home style is. The French Country influence is strongly evident in many of our pieces, yet we offer an array of accessories that can blend any style of décor together. The pieces and finds in our shop change almost daily. Our team of “treasure seekers” is out on the road weekly, always bringing in forgotten or unwanted old furniture treasures eager for restoration. You’ll find newly painted dressers, bureaus, desks, night stands, armoires and more, as well as older pieces that are just waiting for a new look. Our studio also carries new and reclaimed home accessories, including vintage and antique lamps, lamp shades, pillows, throws, wall hangings, antique mirrors and more. One of our favorite branches of our studio is our “secret stash” room. Our customers come from far and wide to peek into our overflow room, which consists of all the antique and vintage furniture pieces we’ve picked up each week that await our restoration. This room offers our customers the opportunity to either bring the piece home for their own renovation style, or customize their request for our renovation service. Our overflow room, like our studio, changes weekly as new pieces are brought in. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® has recently found a home in our studio, as we have become a stockist for this incredible line of decorative paints and fabrics. We carry the full line of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® paints, brushes, soft waxes and other decorative accessories in our studio. We also offer creative and relaxing workshops teaching the use of this line of paint to create the unique Chalk Paint® look for your furniture or accessories at home. Our studio also offers a wide selection of home furnishing fabrics. We carry discounted fabrics by the yard and bolt selections, as well as a vast array of sample books.
