A Forensic Document Examiner may be retained in many types of questioned document problems involving handwriting, alterations, inks, paper, machine printing and more . Our job is to analyze evidence without bias and render opinions without favor.
I served 12 years as a commissioned state District Attorney Investigator with the Oklahoma County District Attorney, primarily investigating white-collar crime. After training for nearly three years full-time in Questioned Documents, I served as the director and examiner for the Oklahoma County District Attorney Questioned Document Laboratory, a state laboratory inspected and Accredited by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board under both the Legacy and International programs. My work has included casework for Federal, State and Local law enforcement agencies as well as major law firms. My continued association with ASCLD/LAB includes having served as a laboratory inspector, discipline expert and one of three examiners serving on the Questioned Documents Proficiency Review Committee. I am now in private practice primarily serving Oklahoma, and surrounding states such as Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri in civil and criminal litigation document examination and consultation.
