Lus Seweing was founded in May of 2012 by Iskuhi Abrahamyan. Iskuhi had spent several years working for one of the largest industrial and contract sewing companies in the San Fernando Valley and had built life-long and lasting friendships with several of the company's loyal clients over a span of 30 years. In 2005, a change in ownership at their former company drastically changed the company's business model. Some of the smaller companies that Iskuhi had worked with for years were suddenly being forced to seek a new partner to manufacture their products. Iskuhi saw an opportunity to build and start a new company with a built in customer base and Lus Seweing was born.
