Spin D'Arte is a group of Artists (past, present and future) that was formed by Robert Sutherland as an instructor at DFAC (Dunedin Fine Art Center) for the Artists to enjoy creating their works in an atmosphere that fosters creativity.
You will find all styles of art from the members of Spin D'Arte.
The newest style can actually yield up to four paintings in one depending on how the painting is hung. In the Spin style the Artist splashes color on the canvas or wood and then turns it 90 degrees to splash color again and this is repeated until 4 turns are done. The Artist then stands back from each perspective and develops the painting that presents itself. The Artist never knows what the end result will be until finished!
