Capturing the soul of a person or pet has been my gift. My expertise is using color and all the tools that I have acquired over the many years of pursuing my craft as a portrait painting artist, as well as having studied under the tutelage of the most highly acclaimed international portrait artists. I have used this expertise for clients in Palm Beach, New York, New Jersey, Miami, and now Seattle, WA.
Pet portraits are also a specialty of mine. I am a pet lover and the current owner a Boston terrier and a Tiger cat. I have come to know and appreciate their special personalities. Equestrian portraits as well.
Teaching portraiture for 10 years - SVA Manhattan, and Boca Museum Art School. Oil classes for beginners to professionals.

Through my 28 years of fusing glass, I have found that glass art runs the range of style and design from "less is more" to "God is in the details".
I chose to follow the detail. That aspect of art where some details are seen immediately and others are noticed over time. It is the detail that makes art "love at first sight" and then a welcome companion for life.

Throughout her career, Wendi has worked as both an illustrator and designer who creates artwork for children's media, video games, comics, galleries, and more. Born in Beijing and raised in Metro Detroit, she eventually settled in Seattle to work full-time as an artist.
Wendi sells her work at popular conventions such as Emerald City Comic Con, where she enjoys meeting her customers in-person. In 2017, she began tabling at the historic Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle.
She loves art in all its forms and aims to create work that leaves a lasting impression on the viewer.
