I am Journalist at Large. After almost four decades in the daily newspaper business, I am a self-employed writer and editor. I can write just about anything, but specialize in legal writing and editing. I have a law degree and years of experience with the South Florida branch of a national chain of legal publications. This year I ghost-wrote part of a book and edited the entire manuscript. Now I have the luxury of choosing my work. Though I like learning new things, I am not interested in boring (to me), purely commercial projects. I will not work for less than my professional fee: 50 cents per word for writing, $50 an hour for editing. Once I am invested in a project, it gets my undivided attention until it is completed.
