Dr. R. Y. Langham holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctorate in Family Psychology. In 2007, she published her first study on the long-term effects of childhood abuse on the adult female. She lives in Tennessee with her husband and Chihuahua and in her spare time she enjoys visiting with friends and family, baking, reading, dining out and treating herself to special treats from Cold Stone Creamery.
