Auto Tech has been family owned and operated since opening in 1984 by Steve & Debbie Dauzart. The Dauzart’s started in a small 8×10 portable building and a quarter acre lot for salvage vehicles and parts. The inventory was by memory only. Auto Tech now has a 13 acre yard for inventory, a warehouse stocked with parts and a computerized inventory system. The automotive business has been carried on for three generations in the Dauzart family, from Belton to Steve to Steve’s son, Hummer. Hummer has been raised in the salvage yard industry, even getting off the school bus as a child at the family business. He is now in charge of inventory of salvage vehicles. Although Auto Tech has grown and changed over the years, some things have remained the same. We have still maintained the friendly, professional customer service we are known for. We are committed to quality customer satisfaction and lower cost alternatives for our customers auto needs.
