SAFE is an effort to give the disabled the same advantages as the abled when it comes to owning a dog. Our goal is to teach disabled individuals how they can train their own dog, regardless of their ability to become a well mannered good public citizen and a joy within the family. Using positive reinforcement techniques, your limitations and maybe some modified equipment, you will learn how to care for and train your dog yourself, with little or no assistance from others. SAFE is also designed to train disabled people who have completed basic training to go on and train their own dogs to be Service Dogs. Your Dog can be trained to do many tasks to improve your quality of life and to help greatly with independence.
