LaWanda established her photography services in Central Florida as Candid Captures Photography in 2007. Her focus was on portraits and weddings, as well as working with local pageants and contestants for a variety of services in Pasco County. She was also the photographer for the Miss Florida Pageant Orientation weekend in 2008. Upon relocating to Northern California in the summer of 2008, she changed the business name to "Western Captures Photography". This was to include the large variety of landscape images she was capturing of the "West", and to also tie into her "Country and Western Spirit", in addition to offering all of the portrait, events, and custom framing services. Her images have appeared in various print media formats and she offers DESTINATION PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES.
