Trigger points are tight bands in muscle or fascia (myofascial) that are tender to the touch and usually refer pain to distant parts of the body. To help those suffering from trigger point pain, we use hands on techniques, client education and adhere to the teachings of Janet Travell, whose work pioneered the treatment of myofascial pain.
