Gayle Temkin, Founder, began her massage therapy career in 1978 and has traveled thousands of miles around the massage table and her client's' concerns (including her own). She has a huge repertoire of skills that come into play. In 1992 she closed Austin Massage Associates, a 1500 sq foot clinic, with an excellent physician referral base and regular client load, to bring positive attention and touch in Austin Independent School District classrooms. She did that until 2006 when she retired; but, eventually, she missed doing massage. Moved to the country and started Massage Hideaway, a place to breathe, relax, enjoy, and get an exceptional holistic rub that calms the body, mind and spirit.
