I am a certified massage therapist. I was previously a certified nurses aide in Arizona. I have been in Virginia since 2005. I received my training at Heritage in Falls Church, VA for a 750 hour program. I graduated in May 2006 with a certification in massage therapy. My training there included the following modalities: Swedish, Myofascial, Deep Tissue, Sports, Chair, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Trigger Points, Polarity, and Hydrotherapy. I received my Reiki 1 certification in March 2006 at Heritage. I continued my education at Heritage and completed my Associates Degree in Massage in May 2007. This program was an additional 480 hours which included the following modalities: Connective Tissue, Segment Reflex, Periostal, Stretching, Vibration, Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy, Infant, Geriatric, and Acupressure. I received my Reiki 2 certification in March 2007 and Reiki 3 in May 2007. I received certification in August 2007 for Japanese Zen Facial, Hot Stone, and Reflexology.
