In 2012, the new owners of the Irma J Ranch set out to create an unparalleled outdoor wedding experience for their clients and guests – one where there is time to acclimate to the altitude (8,700’ elevation), and genuinely enjoy the preparation, the area, the event, and the leisurely departure. They had such an experience when they were married on the ranch in 1986, thanks to Johnny and Irma McNamara, owners of the ranch for the prior 50 years. With construction completed in the fall of 2014, the experience today is so much more with the restoration of the historic cabin and the barn/saloon. A 5-bedroom, 4-bath luxury ranch home has been added, along with several other features like an open-air shower house, outdoor movie theater, wood-fired sauna building, and bridal dressing shed. Our booking policy requires a 5-day minimum stay around each weekend so that the wedding party has the opportunity to truly experience the magic of an event at the Irma J Ranch. The Irma J is also a great place for other events, such as birthdays, ceremonies, or family reunions.
