Hackingtons Code School for Kids is an after-school and weekend academy offering children aged 8-16 a chance to learn real coding skills in a fun, supportive, project-based manner. Whether online or in one of our Northern California locations (Pleasant Hill, Dublin, Brentwood, Rocklin, etc.), students work with mentor-teachers to build games, apps, and websites using Scratch, Python, JavaScript, Roblox Lua, and Unity 3D. Classes meet once per week for about 70 minutes, with tuition around $140/month. Hackingtons uses a belt ranking system (from White → Black belt) to mark student progress and help motivate growth through real projects and showcase events. Parents can expect trial classes, ongoing feedback, portfolios, monthly competitions, and a curriculum created in-house with 24/7 access. Our goal is not just teaching code, but helping kids build confidence, creativity, logical thinking, and a portfolio of work they’re proud to share.
