Smart and Fit Kids is a full service facility offering Day Care, Child Care, Preschool and After School programs. We offer full day and half day preschool programs for ages 1 to 5 years old, including VPK (Voluntary PreKindergarten) enrollment. Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 7am to 6:30pm. We provide school-to-preschool pick-up for K-5th grade children enrolled in aftercare. Participating schools we provide pick-up include: Central Park Elementary Flamingo Elementary Fox Trail Elementary Indian Ridge Elementary Plantation Park Elementary Silver Ridge Elementary SMART and FIT KIDS Preschool and Development Center, formerly known as Kinder Kids Academy, is a 6,558 square feet facility located on W State Road 84 in Davie next to Kabooms. Smart and Fit Kids is a family owned business. Owners Natalja and Drasko Podrug believe that preschool is a great way to begin building the foundation of a child's healthy future! The preschool includes 6 age-appropriate fully equipped spacious classrooms, a new state-of-the-art indoor gym and 3 outstanding outdoor turf play areas. We provide the perfect setting for children to develop intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. Smart and Fit Kids in the process of updating the playground. Check out the new TURF we added instead of the old sand and some new play equipment for the children of all ages to enjoy outside! Canopies have been added to block the sun making the playground more inviting year round. With wall to wall mats, the new indoor gym provides the convenience of having our enrolled students participate in gymnastics classes without having to drive them to another location. We encourage any child from ages 3 to 10 to join our afterschool gymnastics program and have fun while keeping fit. Smart and Fit Kids offers “Fit To Flip Sports Program” tumbling, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, dance and karate classes. Natalja is not only a hands-on operator, but a Russian trained gymnast with 10 years in competitive gymnastics and 4 years as a coach in the U.S. Combined with her technical knowledge and love of fitness, Natalja will guarantee that the children have a complete well rounded gymnastic and “Fit To Flip Sports Program” experience.
