Taffy Millar CPF and Steve Rigby were long-time employees of Damon Galleries Ltd. When Shirley Damon retired and closed the business, Steve and Taffy chose to continue providing the same fine quality design and craftsmanship. They found a new place close by, at the corner of Church and Mill Streets, and happily settled in to that charming and eclectic neighborhood. Sadly, Steve died suddenly in March of 2014, but The Studio continues. Ellen Harms CPF, previously of Turner Framing in Great Falls, joined us in June of 2014. Her excellent design and technical skills have enabled us to continue the high standards set at both Damon Galleries and Turner Framing, and offer even more fine framing options. We specialize in custom framing of paintings and prints, hand-crafted French mats, photographs and needlework, as well as collage shadowboxes of memorabilia - wedding, military and sports. Great care is taken with the treasured items left for framing, and all work is done on the premises. There is a large selection of mouldings on the sliding display walls, and experienced designers to help with your choices.

Since 1973, Damon Galleries Ltd. was recognized as a leader in the field of custom framing. Featured in prestigious trade magazines, and winning both national and international design competitions, the company introduced innovative techniques, while maintaining high standards and quality workmanship. When the Gallery closed in 2013, Taffy Millar CPF (an employee for 27 years) chose to continue the tradition at a different location. We continue to offer creative, thoughtful design for your framing projects, including shadow boxes, sports memorabilia, needlework, medals, vacation photos & souvenirs, wedding memories, childhood treasures, paintings on canvas, fine art on paper, wedding portraits & invitations - in fact, just about anything that you wish to protect and display.
