Looking for expert training in the art of Taxidermy? Hutton Valley School of Taxidermy is the proven choice of driven taxidermy students from coast to coast! We are a VA and GI Bill approved taxidermy school, and we have student lodging on campus! At Hutton Valley School of Taxidermy, we focus on teaching you the artistic skills needed to create beautiful mounts and the attention to detail that will keep your customers coming back for more. All classes are limited to four students in order to provide personalized instruction. While there is a maximum four students per session, there is no minimum. We offer mini-classes for deer heads/gameheads, birds, fish, mammals, and turkeys. All specimens and supplies (forms, eyes, paint, etc) are furnished with cost of tuition and are the student's to keep! Students take home everything they mount and may bring their own trophies to mount, if desired. We also teach the entire process for hair-on soft tanning, including for deer capes! We still offer Taxidermy services. If you're bringing in or shipping us specimens to mount, we can also give instructions for field care.
