It all started in the early 2000s, at a local elementary school in Dallas, Texas. Meg began selling candy out of a sling bag to her peers (and the staff!), as a way to capitalize on her school not having a snack vending machine, as well as make her allowance grow! Despite being a young ambitious entrepreneur, Meg was too young and inexperienced at the time to understand how a vending machine could create the additional passive income desired.
Fast forward, Meg decided to focus her passions on education and basketball. Meg went to New Orleans for college, where she attended Loyola University and met her husband Emmanuel "Manny" Hill Jr. The two met on the university's recreational basketball court during a pick-up game, and from there, have created their own "love and basketball" story. Since meeting in college Meg and Manny have married, and have a son named Elijah.
Meg graduated from college and continued her love for physical fitness and education through her career as the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness at Tulane University. However, that has not stopped Meg from pursuing her entrepreneurial talent to provide snacks to hungry on-the-go customers. Meg created Meg's Munchies Vending Company in hopes to teach and share the experience of running a business as a family with her son and husband. The goal is to become THE go-to family-owned vending machine business for the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
