Good Neighbors Working Together NC Discount Propane was launched after a group of neighbors near Wake Forest, NC got together to take control of our underground tanks and stop paying high prices to companies that would charge us between $2.25 and $4.00 per gallon each Winter. When we started as an informal savings group in 2016, there were only four of us but we were able to negotiate as a group and lower our per gallon propane rates. Soon we were paying under two dollars per gallon.
