About ARC Carpet Care ARC Carpet Care first opened its doors in 1989. Our beginnings, like many family businesses, were humble. Our partner slept on a futon in our dining room/company headquarters to save money, I drummed up business one phone call at a time (the internet was years away), and my wife, Cristi, kept the books (as well as a day job). We had 2 young kids, 6 cats that came with the house and a dog that was given to us by a customer, because he would "go" on their carpet every day after they went to work.
