Norfolk Ambulance Service has seen many changes in patient care, equipment, and transport needs over the last couple of decades. Three generations of family ownership has yielded a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of ambulance transport.Our service has evolved with the times.The original owners were on the state committee that developed Nebraska's EMS system. Crews have evolved from EMT-A to Critical Care Paramedics. Simple cardiac monitors gave way to all-inclusive machines capable of monitoring, defibrillation, pacing, EKG's, blood pressures, O2 sats, capnography and end-tidal. The BMV is now secondary to the mechanical ventilator.Technology and advancements have come a long way in our service but one thing has not changed, our dedication to providing the best patient care possible.
