I have for years done what others won't. From the caller that tells me I was the 4th or 5th courier service they contacted, and the others would not take their job because they weren't already a customer, too a caller just having a strange request that no one else can be flexible enough to help them. Examples: Had someone call from California needing some papers picked up at the Scott County Courthouse and FedEx overnight to them. I the 6th courier service they called and the only one that would help them. The ironic thing is that it was another courier service that called me and he asked how can those other places call themselves services when they care nothing of customer service to the public only to existing customers. I was asked to clean out a car by a lawyer customer. The owner of the car had passed away and they needed to have the contents of his car gone through for important documents and/or valuable items. No one would do it but Special Delivery. There was a Colorado based construction company that told me I was the 10th place they called to do a job for them. They needed someone to put in a sealed bid for them and hang around for the opening of the bids to find out if they had won the bid. 9 places turned down this easy money and I was happy to service this customer. These are just 3 examples things we have done in the past, and I would like thank my competitors for not offering service, because every one of those jobs paid very well. As long as the "courier services" above me in the google listing or whatever don't really provide services to all, I will continue to reap the rewards. You can't make money saying NO!
