Towing and wrecker services in Northern Virginia have been provided by Scotties Auto Transport (formerly Scottie's Wrecker Service and now a division of A-1 Auto Transport) since 1975. A single wrecker was all that was needed when Scottie's first opened. Scottie's has developed into a 24-hour towing and transport business that focuses on medium and light duty service and heavy-load recovery.
