Teaspoon specializes in fresh, seasonal, handcrafted artisanal teas from China, Taiwan, Japan, and India. These unique and rare teas are selected for their nuanced and complex tastes (unlike blended teas and most tea bags). Like wine, tea?s flavors are vastly influenced by terroir, or the taste imparted by growing location. Our teas are a reflection of the earth and climate of their origin. Teaspoon works with select importers who travel to small boutique, often remote, high mountain farms to taste and choose these small batches of tea. In the process, they nurture long-term relationships with farmers and collectives and support the traditional, sustainable, and innovative agricultural crafts of these tea artisans.
