Ernest and Henry Parro opened Parro's Gun Shop in 1983 with an inventory of 6 firearms on a card table. Ernest ran the shop during the early days while Henry pursued his law enforcement career. Parro's incorporated as Parro's Gun Shop & Police Supplies Inc. in 1988. Since opening their doors, Parro's had to expand many times. In 2006, Parro's opened their 4,000 square foot handicap accessible show room at the same location. Parro's is now one of the largest gun shops in Vermont.
