Malik and Friends is a book series targeted to children ages 3-8 that encourages partnership and problem-solving about global social issues. The first book, "Malik and the Malaria-Carrying Mosquito" deals with malaria in Burkina Faso, and the second, "Malik says, 'Turn off the water!'" address water conservation and sanitation. We envision a world in which everyone has enough food to eat. A world where girls attend school, and babies do not die from preventable diseases. A world that acknowledges and advances our common humanity. It is our hope that through Malik and FriendsTM there is an increased awareness of ways children and families can partner to solve many of the challenges in the world today.
