VLADIMIR INGERMAN Distinguished Oilman, Doctor of Technical Science. I've been privileged to experience the richness of life after visiting 74 countries, swimming in 55 seas and oceans, and taking part in a sailboat journey around the world. I was born in the Soviet Union's Northern Caucasus region. Professionally, my adventure began with the Tajikistan Field Expedition and continued into scientific circles in Moscow. Later, I led the exploration and development of oil and gas reserves in Western Siberia before traveling to the United States.
