Le Play Cafe Indoor Play Area & Coffee lounge is the vision of local Long Island mother, Katrina Wells. After living in South Florida for a year, she became fondly familiar with the great variety of indoor playgrounds available to young families. Considering the popularity of these places in spite of the great weather that Florida was known for; she wondered why there were so few options for indoor play back home in Long Island where the weather was definitely less welcoming. Katrina realized that Long Island lacked a place for BOTH kids and growns-ups to get out of the house and be equally happy and comfortable. As a stay-at-home mom, she knew how necessary it is to get out of the house daily to maintain sanity, but the options for moms of preschoolers and infants were slim to none.
