It began with a love for all things Mexican: the culture, music, food, language, landscape, people, and especially the folk art and craft, and so Zumbido was born! Zumbido de Portland was a much beloved brick and mortar shop in Portland, Oregon selling fair trade imports from Latin America from 2012-2019. Reopening as Zumbido Gifts in Eureka, California in 2021, we open up to fair trade and ethically sourced items from everywhere, including the United States. Visiting Zumbido can feel like walking into a small folk art museum, full of unique, handmade treasures, and imports from around the world. We delight in sharing our love for fair trade and ethically sourced artisan made creations. Our appreciation and awe for the beauty and creativity of handmade gifts is boundless, and our ultimate goal is to help support artisans and independent makers from across the globe.
