Soutache Jewelry is a unique, meticulously stitched & beaded art form that is reminiscent of ancient times yet melds with any current fashion style. Her tutoring in hand-stitching and fine embroidery began at the age of five under the watchful eye of her very skilled French grandmother. Suzanne’s background consists of fourteen years in the fine jewelry industry, a major in Commercial Art and Photography, experienced Couturiere of bridal and ladies formal wear (to include restoration of Vintage gowns and formal/bridal accessories such as veils, hats, gauntlets, etc.), French Heirloom Vintage reproduction dresses and smocking for children; and elaborate belly-dancing costumes. I have lived in two of the great sea ports of Europe, close to where the Lost Continent of Atlantis is fabled to exist. I was born in Marseille, France and spent some time in Trieste, Italy.
