Aloha Bay, the company I buy from, obtains their palm oil to create these slow, clean burning candles from palm plantations in Malaysia Once the oil is harvested it is mixed with the melted wax and essential oils then hand poured into the molds or glass jars. We also offer a line of Himalayan salt lamps and fire bowls. Himalayan salt is one of the purest sources left on earth. Salt is a natural air purifier when heated. The light bulb gently heats the salt rock causing the salt to give off negative ions which then cling to positive ions in the air, making them too heavy to float causing them to fall to the floor where they are easily swept or vacuumed up.
