The emphasis of this business is the product of Estella's 35 years as a professsor and practicing artist "who knows what patrons want". The company's goal is to make owning your own art possible. Bow Designs was created by Estella Mills, she received a BA in Art from Dominicant Universtiy in 1972, MA in Ceramics/Painting Studio Art from the University of Northern Iowa in 1975,and her MA in Art History from Governor State University in 1987. She has taught in the educational field starting in 1972 on the secondary level and the college level starting in 1980 until 2007. She is now retired and enjoying more time in various art activities.
