The China Clipper Inn, located in the heart of Ouray, Colorado, provides elegant and luxurious lodging accommodations. Built from scratch in the 1990's and opened in 1995, this Ouray Inn, was designed to emulate it's historic neighbors and retain the architectural vintage and character of the town. With fine mountain views from most rooms, the China Clipper Inn offers all the intimate amenities of an Inn and the conveniences and privacy of a fine hotel. Ouray is a historic mining town, also known as the "Switzerland of America." The town of Ouray is nestled in the majestic San Juan Mountains in Southwestern Colorado at the beginning of the Million Dollar Highway. Our B&B is located on a quiet street one block from Main Street in the heart of Ouray, within walking distance of most of the shops, galleries and restaurants. We offer one luxurious suite and five charming guest rooms. All are individually and beautifully decorated. Each room features a unique iron bed that takes you back in time to the turn of the century. All rooms have either relaxing glider rockers or wing back chairs, private bath rooms, ceiling fans, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and in-room coffee or tea.
