The Carousel Bed & Breakfast at Ruff Acres site began as an historic farm built in the late 1800's along the Conewango Creek near Russell, Pa. Interestingly, the Warren-Jamestown Street Car Line service ran behind the property and began about the same time. In fact, one of the trolley stops for the line was located at Ruff Acres farm. The Warren-Jamestown Street Car Line transported people between the two cities from the late 1800's until 1926. The trolley cars also carried fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and other products from local farms to merchants in both cities.
