Berkeley Echo Lake Camp is located in the El Dorado National Forest near South Lake Tahoe, and is within a 10-minute walk to Desolation Wilderness and Echo Lake. The camp sits at 7400 feet and offers a stunning ridge view of Lake Tahoe. Campers stay in wooden tent cabins scattered around this recreational paradise. The Camp provides three delicious meals each day (plus snacks), a hot tub, a swimming pool, organized games and activities or your choice of hiking, swimming, canoeing, horseshoes, basketball, volleyball, badminton, archery and more. Evening activities are also available at the amphitheater, campfire circle or in our cozy Lodge. Camp is also available for private rentals for conferences, retreats or family gatherings.
