A Denver, Colorado native, he earned a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and a Master of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in New York, studying under noted theorist Rowena Reed Kostellow. For over 35 years, Harris blended design with technology, receiving numerous professional honors. His lifelong passion for photography eventually became his primary creative focus. Known for an independent, innovative spirit, he brings an unconventional approach to photographic art. In 2017, he received U.S. Patent 9,753,295 for a layered artwork process, and his award-winning work appears internationally.
