John Ball Zoo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to the advancement of public education on the need for wildlife conservation and preservation, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The 103-acre zoo includes over 220 species of animals and is the first zoo in the world to receive SITES Gold certification under the Sustainable Sites Initiatives (SITES).
