Every year the WMYB presents the Nutcracker Ballet at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. This full length ballet features over 100 youth dancers, ages 8 - 18, from over 10 different dance studios in West Michigan. WMYB is a non-profit company. Since 2007, the WMYB has brought together youth dancers, dance professionals, community leaders and dedicated parents to share their dream of founding a ballet company for the community's youth. Our mission is that WMYB dancers take the life lessons learned at the Ballet Company and apply them in their work, homes, neighborhoods & communities throughout their lives. We also believe that exposing a broader range of our West Michigan community to the beauty of dance & music will enhance the life and well-being of our community.
