Hoops Asylum was established in 2013 by James Booyer as a result of numerous requests for a proper training program in northwest Indiana. Our program is geared towards bringing back the competitiveness of the sport of basketball to the area. The game of basketball, along with the with the way people learn the game has not changed over the years, but the speed, ability, agility, and athleticism of it has. The difference between what we do and what others do is that we train with a purpose. We believe in practicing smarter, not harder. We break down each part of the game to its basic level and make sure each athlete understands the reason behind each movement, angle, and skill set that is taught and used on the floor.
