We're Shorei Ryu Karate Studios, and we've been a premier karate and martial arts school in Bradley, IL, since 2022. We specialize in Okinawan karate for youth and adults, competitive training, and self-defense. We offer training, sparring, tournaments, martial arts weapons training, kickboxing, group lessons, special events, and more. We're proud to prepare our students for national and international tournaments, both of which we’re heavily involved in. We also offer Home School Programs! In 2021, Sensei Dwight was inducted into the United States Association of Martial Artists and the Hawkes International Society. Since opening his first school, Sensei Dwight’s dojo has grown to 80 students, many of whom have had incredible accomplishments since joining the school. Some of those accomplishments include: 27 USAMA National Champions, 23 USAMA World Champions, 4 USAMA World Grand Champions, Over 25 USAMA tournament Grand Champions, as well as 4 USKA World Champions, and more!
