Elmhurst Yoga Shala opened in 2002 and has grown into a friendly and open community that values authentic instruction, individual attention, and a relaxed atmosphere. Our focus is on helping you improve your overall health. We are dedicated to inspiring people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by offering a wide range of classes that are accessible and affordable. Classes are on-going and most are on a drop-in basis and can run as little as $10.00 a class. We also offer workshops, a Women's Spiritual Circle, and Kirtan to enhance and compliment your practice and your path. We offer a wonderful selection of drop-in classes including many varieties and styles of yoga for adults, infants, kids, teens, prenatal yoga, and childbirth education. Daily group yoga classes are offered for all levels, including classes for the beginner, classes for experienced students, and therapeutic yoga. We also offer private yoga sessions. Our classes are taught by certified, experienced teachers in a clean, new, spacious studio with beautiful floating wood floors and plenty of natural light. All mats and props are provided to help you experience a safe and peaceful place to begin a new yoga practice or to challenge and further explore an advanced practice. At the Shala, we welcome everyone no matter what life stage or body type. It is never too late to start!
