9Round is an effective, 30 minute full body workout with no class times, a different workou routine each day and a trainer with you every step of the way! We are definitely not your everyday gym. 9Round is a unique fitness circuit designed to give members a fun, high intensity, full-body workout in under 30 minutes. There are no set class times, meaning you can come whenever you want. The workout is comprised of 9 different stations, where you perform different sets of exercises at each station, changing stations every 3 minutes. We are a family-oriented Martial Arts and Self-Defense studio. Our programs offer practical self-defense programs for adults, children and their families. We offer family discounts, and special pricing for military, police, emergency workers and educators.

Black belt instructors teach both the Olympic sport of judo and traditional self-defense (jujitsu). At the moment, classes are not in operation due to the coronavirus, but once that is no longer a threat, we will resume operation. The club is opposite the SC Federal Credit Union on Red Bank Road, in Building 725 on the Naval Weapons Station, Joint-Base Charleston, in Goose Creek. All students must join the United States Judo Association, through which we process all our promotions and certifications.

Japan International Karate Center is well known in the tri-county area for its quality karate instruction that is based on traditional Japanese martial arts, with a strong emphasis on the students' mental development. It is this attention to mental training in the form of self-discipline which not only opens the door to learning the physical karate skills, but gives the student added advantages in his or her personal life. The Hawaii school was led by Soke Kiyohisa Hirano, our Japanese Founder, until his death in 2009. Soke Hirano was a magnificent leader who influenced thousands of people with his commitment to a positive lifestyle through Karate. We at JIKC are proud to be a part of this tremendous heritage of martial arts. JIKC's instruction, a mixture of traditional Japanese Karate known as Shotokan and Wado-Ryu, emphasizes circular blocks and body shifting with hard, offensive striking techniques. Also incorporated in JIKC instruction are various techniques from the Shotokan system which are more linear in nature with both hard defensive and offensive techniques.
