At New York Boating Safety our goal is to provide you, the recreational boater, with the highest quality boating safety education so your boating experience can be safe and enjoyable for you and your family. OUR INSTRUCTORS Learn from New York State and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Certified Instructors. Our instructors are members of the U.S. Coast Guard Aux and spend many hours assisting the Coast Guard as, Crew on Safety Patrols, Personal Watercraft Coxswains, Maritime Domain Awareness Patrols, Communications, Vessel Safety Checks and Public Education. They are trained in Man Overboard Maneuvers, Search & Rescue Operations, and to assist the Coast Guard with any natural or man made disasters
