The Robert Frost Farm is open for tours in the spring from Wednesday through Sunday until July 4th. It then opens seven days a week until Labor Day after which it returns to five days a week. It closes the day after Columbus Day to reopen mid May. Tours of the house are given by guides who describe the renovation of the property and tell stories about Robert Frost and his family and connect the house to the many poems he wrote on his "five free years livng on the Derry Farm." The poems from Derry comprise his first two books, "A Boys Will "and "North of Boston." The only charge is for the tour. There is also a display in the barn, a free video and a self guided tour around the property. The Trustees have a Literary Series and Hyla Brook Poets sponsor readings each summer.
