Atlantic Coast Kayak Company offers guided and unguided adventures on the Middle River and nearby places. Our staff is professional, friendly, and eager to help you get the most out of your experience with us. Introductory lessons are free with no purchase necessary. Kids under 6 ride free, and 6-12 are half price, so bring the family! We're located in Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve in Wilton Manors (Central Ft Lauderdale). Admission to the park, and parking are free. We are on the river and launch directly from our floating dock. Our guided tours are the best in town. Read our reviews on Yelp and Tripadvisor! You'll learn about the river, it's history, the history of the surrounding area, as well as the native and non native plants and animals that make their homes there. You'll see lots of aquatic birds like herons, ducks, egrets, ibises, cormorants and more! We know hospitality too! When you come in from the river, our staff will offer you a fresh coconut with a dash of lime as a refreshment. When we have local fruit, it will be offered as well. In June we get mangoes, September through December we get Carambolas and a few papayas, Bananas are here and there. Coconuts are year round. Our watercraft are well maintained and all our seats have back support. We have kayaks to accommodate all sizes of people, and paddle boards for persons of all ages and skill levels.
