Jack Goodnight, a Kannapolis native, started G & S Metal Co. in 1959. Jack's outside passion was rebuilding and flying vintage piper cubs. The same care required to rebuild a plane that will fly was exhibited in the installation of heating and cooling systems. Jack chose to have our custom metal fabrication shop make all our duct systems rather than using less expensive and less durable materials. The metal in G & S Metal Co. comes from that decision and continues today. Over the years G & S grew by providing quality brand name equipment such as York, Goodman and ThermoPride with custom designed duct systems. Pride in installation has always been coupled with service to ensure your comfort is #1. In August of 2010 , the company was acquired by Holistic Energy LLC.
