While still in the United States Air Force, Terry McAdams started MacTech Solutions in the spare bedroom of his home in 1996. There was a great need for a Macintosh expert to provide business and home users with consulting and training. Terry partnered with a couple of internet service providers and was the "go to guy' for anything Macintosh. In 2004, after Terry retired from the Air Force, he took the business full-time and then moved to the current location to offer retail sales to customers. In 2007, MacTech Solutions earned the status of Apple Specialist, Apple's designation for premier Apple Authorized Resellers.
